What does the free plan include?
The free plan gives you one document per month, up to 5,000 words (or the equivalent). It includes Benjamin's context-aware grammar, unit, and notation checks with native tracked changes, at the same proofreading quality as the paid plans. Equation proofreading and 95+ language support are available on Pro and Max.
What counts as a "document"?
A single manuscript you submit for proofreading — a .tex project, a Word .docx, plain text / Markdown, or .rtf. Free allows one document a month up to 5,000 words; paid plans work off a generous monthly word budget instead — 70,000 words on Pro and 350,000 on Max.
What's the difference between Pro and Max?
Same features, same proofreading quality — the difference is volume. Pro includes 70,000 words per month (nearly unlimited for most researchers); Max gives you 5× that, 350,000 words per month, for heavy users and large groups.
